Learning Objectives

• The first student on each team will swim backstroke across the pool and then tag the next teammate to do the same
• The first team to complete the relay wins

• Lead the class in a group cool down consisting of arm and leg stretches
• Discuss the importance of cooling down after exercise to prevent injuries
• Have students exit the pool slowly to allow their bodies to gradually adjust to the change in temperature
